The Democrat Convention

Has now come to its conclusion

Though I followed every minute

I’ll admit to some confusion

The deficit is growing

Unemployment is a mess

So I’ve got to think their message was

We’re better off with less

Less freedom of religion

Less money in the bank

If you think that less is more

Then you’ve got Democrats to thank

They’re so sure of their convictions

With no “and” or “but” or “if”

They just want to lead us forward

But we’re standing on a cliff

 And on any given issue

I both felt it and I sensed it

In the spirit of John Kerry

They’re both for it and against it

 They support the Jewish nation

Not so any one would know it

And the way they wrote their platform

Is a funny way to show it

 For their catechism’s simple

And this is how they learn it

Sure we want to drill for oil

But we really shouldn’t  burn it.

 Well despite their propaganda

What they’re selling I’m not buying

When Joe Biden says, “Good Morning”

There’s a fair chance that he’s lying

But their vision of the future

Is the best one they can see

And it’s clear, come the election

Surely 2/3rds will agree
