This story is developing right now, but an explosion as taken down two buildings on the Upper East Side of New York City. 1644 and 1646 Park Avenue (at 116th Street) have been reduced to rubble on Wednesday morning. NY1 reports that 1644 contained a Spanish church, a piano company, and residential apartments at the top.
