Thomas Sowell Brings the World into Focus through an Economics Lens

This week, on the latest installment of Uncommon Knowledge, Dr. Thomas Sowell of the Hoover Institution sits down with host Peter Robinson. He’s plugging his latest publication, which is actually the fifth edition of his classic work, Basic Economics. Dr. Sowell makes economics readable and understandable. He takes a machete to the clichés and abstractions of the day in a no-nonsense manner. Take a look at this interview, and be warned … you just might learn...

What Happened When Sean Hannity Called the Obamacare Hotline

What Happened When Sean Hannity Called the Obamacare Hotline

On the Monday edition of his radio show, Sean Hannity called the Obamacare hotline.   Since President Obama had given out the number during his presser in the Rose Garden earlier in the day, it seemed like a good idea. He managed to get through to a representative named Erling Davis. After a few minutes of talking about the ‘glitches’ on the Obamacare web site, Hannity veered off and the conversation went into subjects such as her living in Panama City, Florida, the fact that she doesn’t vote, her lack of knowledge of certain talk radio hosts, and the differences in weather in Panama City and New York. He even got her to read the script they are given on air: “Thanks for your interest in the health insurance marketplace. We are having a lot of visitors trying to use our website right now. Greg Gutfeld at the Defending the American Dream Summit

Greg Gutfeld at the Defending the American Dream Summit

Recently, Americans for Prosperity hosted their annual “Defending the American Dream” Summit in Orlando, Florida.   Greg Gutfeld of Red Eye and The Five knocked it out of the park as usual. Everyone should hear Gutfeld’s speech, because the idea of work is now-a-days held in contempt in too many corners of our society. America has a record number of people who think they shouldn’t have to work…and that is killing our country. And now, a man who needs no...

Obama Gives a Big Kudos to Muslim Brotherhood Connected ISNA!

Obama Gives a Big Kudos to Muslim Brotherhood Connected ISNA!

By Tami Jackson On August 31, President Obama offered his hearty congratulations to ISNA (Islamic Society of North America)…an organization known to be an ally of the Muslim Brotherhood and fellow “mujahideen” in the “Grand Jihad.” The Muslim Brotherhood (also known as Ikhwan), founded in 1928 by Islamist Hassan al-Banna for the purpose of achieving a global, Islamic caliphate, or rule by Islam and sharia law, has listed 29 ally organizations — and ISNA tops the list! Al-Banna, whose grandson, Tariq Ramadan, is today the West’s most influential Islamist ensconced at the well-respected Oxford University, preached that the caliphate would be realized through jihad — holy war. This Grand Jihad remains the Muslim Brotherhood’s goal and reason for being, and those organizations who partner with with the Brotherhood affirm and preach jihad. They may employ “taqiyya” — the strategy of deception (LYING) and so camouflage their true purpose, but they never waiver in their jihadist intent. Yet, Obama is foolishly deluded in believing that, because he attended a madrasah and has a ½ sister who’s a...
