  I listened to your speech last night.  I’ll admit before anything else, that I didn’t watch all of it.  I saw the final 20 minutes.  I’m sorry about that; I just really needed to make a Costco trip.   On Wednesday afternoon, 5 September 2012, I listened to a recording of activity at the Democrat National Convention (furnished by the good offices of the Hugh Hewitt Radio Show) that evoked emotions ranging from raucous laughter to seething rage to visceral fear. This, of course, was the Orwellian puppet show of Governor Ted Strickland (D-OH) offering an amendment to the Democrat platform to place God and Jerusalem as the capital of Israel back into the document.   Tuesday afternoon former Congressman Robert Wexler strode out on the DNC Convention stage as Gary Glitter’s Rock and Roll Part 2 pumped up the smallish 20K crowd. With almost no introductory words, Wexler dove into the reason for his appearance as Obama’s Jewish advocate, “Four years ago I stood at the convention podium in Denver, affirming Barack Obama’s heartfelt, steadfast commitment to the state of Israel.   President Obama told reporters his job as President deserves an incomplete. Obama said this while asking for the American people to let him finish his job. However, the job of president is not a class you can just fail and retake. Obama has said previously he deserves a B+, or an A- if he passed a healthcare law. To fairly grade the President, compare his “syllabus” of promises to what he actually accomplished. One of Obama’s key promises was a healthcare bill.
