Updated Electoral College Map

Due to the changes that polling have brought this week, I decided to put out a revised map for the Electoral College. This map will reflect the latest polling that has Romney up 7 in Florida. Romney is also now ahead in Virginia and Colorado. Nevada and New Hampshire are both showing ties. Obama, meanwhile, is losing ground in Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.  Please continue to check back often for updates in the status of the race.   Electoral College...

Social Conservatism and the Youth

A few weeks ago, I wrote about my frustration that libertarians are creeping into the GOP. Many of them feel that all they have to do is wait out the older members of the party, and once they die out, they can claim victory that social conservatism will die. I get a mixed response from people in my age range on social issues: most of the social conservatives I know are actually Democrats. Some are Republicans as well, but I don’t know as many of them. Many of them are against abortion and same-sex marriage, but they still...

Hillary Will Not Take the Fall for Benghazi

One month after the terrorist attack on the US installment in Benghazi, Libya, the Obama White House is still re-writing  the narrative. At first the entire team, fronted by Jay Carney, maintained an obscure video, that had been in the public domain for 6 months prior, ignited an organic, violent mob to attack the US Embassy. Never mind that the RSO had been requesting additional assets for months. Never mind that there had been...
