The Anniversary of the Challenger

    Today marks the 27th Anniversary of a national tragedy.   On this day in 1986, the space shuttle Challenger exploded 90 seconds after take off. This was to be a momentous day because Christa McAuliffe was to be the first Teacher in Space. It was one of those events where people remember where they were at that moment.
